SEND
St Nicholas CE Primary is an inclusive school. We welcome all children with equal warmth, acknowledging the contribution each child makes to the wellbeing of our school community.
We have high expectations of all our children and are committed to removing the barriers to learning for every child and supporting participation in all areas of school life.
We see the progress and wellbeing of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities as the responsibility of every member of staff within our school community.
The range of support offered will always be designed to promote pupils working towards becoming independent and resilient lifelong learners.
There is a shared expectation that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, should be offered inclusive teaching which will enable them to make the best possible progress in school and feel that they are a valued member of the wider school community.
Bromley Parent Carer forum is dedicated to giving a voice to local SEND families. BPCF strive to simplify the SEND landscape by supporting parent carers, ensuring their voices are heard, listened to, and help inform the shaping of services.
As part of the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF) (https://nnpcf.org.uk/), receive government funding, which allows them to fulfil their mission of representing the voice of and helping local families access the information they need.
